Why not pursue a career as an accounting technician.
The AAT Education and Training scheme offers 3 Levels of study: Level 2 Certificate in Accounting, Level 3 Diploma in Accounting and Level 4 Diploma in Accounting. Students can commence study at the Certificate level with no previous accounting experience. Students must register with the AAT to be eligible to sit the examination.
This programme is also available as a Higher Apprenticeship giving young people aged 16 and over the opportunity to combine the experience of working, with the added benefit of college attendance on a day release (or evening) basis.
Students are required to pass 2 units from the five. Anyone wanting to take additional option units may only do so with the permission of the course coordinator. An additional fee of approximately £130.00 per unit will be charged)
Applicants who have previously studied AAT, but have not had successive year progressions will be required to undertake AAT assessments in Costing and Accounting to determine their ability to study at Level 4.
Lincoln College will require a photocopy of certificates prior to enrolment
