This course supports progression into accountancy settings as well whilst developing skills such as basic costing and accounts. You will study both Levels 2 and 3 within one academic year, providing you a ‘fast-track’ to employment. The skills taught can be used within the financial sector; allowing you to work in a range of companies.
Successful completion of this course may allow you to progress onto the Level 4 Diploma in Accounting or into employment, as an accountant.
During the course of the programme, you will study:
LEVEL 2 CERTIFICATE IN ACCOUNTING : Processing Bookkeeping Transactions; Control Accounts, Journals and the Banking System; Working Effectively in Accounting and Finance; Basic Costing; Computerised Accounting and Professional Ethics in Accounting and Finance.
LEVEL 3 DIPLOMA IN ACCOUNTING: Accounts Preparation; Preparing Final Accounts for Sole Traders and Partnerships; Costs and Revenues; Indirect Tax; Spreadsheets Software; Professional Ethics in Accounting and Finance.
