Being an apprentice means working for a company while you learn and develop skills with a college - at any level.
If you're young, apprenticeships are a great way to get on the career ladder, so you can start earning cash while you train and gain your independence quicker. They're also a cost effective way to change your career later in life - enabling you to cover the bills while you retrain. If you've taken time out to raise children or for health reasons, they enable you refresh your expertise in your career of choice.

It's true that apprenticeships are a great way for 16-18-year-old's to learn a trade, but one of the most common misconceptions is that's all there is to them.
Higher and degree Apprenticeships can be a way for a senior managers to to learn the skills they need to progress to the peak of their careers.
