This programme is designed for anyone working in a catering, manufacturing or retail setting where food is prepared, cooked and handled. Book online now for an upcoming course.

This course will give you:

  • A firm grasp of the importance of food safety and knowledge of the systems, techniques and procedures involved.
  • An understanding of how to control food safety risks (personal hygiene, good storage, cooking and handling).
  • Confidence and expertise to safely deliver quality food to customers.

There are no formal entry requirements.

Assessment is by completing a multiple choice examination.

Fees for the 2013/14 academic year are currently under review. Figures given below are indicative only and subject to change. Fees will be posted here as soon as they become available.

 

The current fees for the academic year 2012/13 are £55.00.  This includes registration with the awarding body.
