This Bookkeeping qualification will provide students with the knowledge and skills to pursue a career in Bookkeeping.
This course is designed for those wishing to improve their knowledge and understanding of bookkeeping. It allows those progressing from Level 1 to further develop their knowledge of manual bookkeeping.
Students will require a Level 1 Bookkeeping qualification or practical work experience of the topics covered at Level 1.
Due to the short duration of this course, there is a minimum attendance requirement of 100%. C&G exams, where applicable, are scheduled for the final week of each course.
Start dates for 2016/2017:
January 2017 - March 2017 - One evening per week - 5.30 - 8.30 pm
Students' work is assessed via a 2 hour exam, marked by the awarding body, City & Guilds. Successful completion of the course leads to the award of a C & G Award in Bookkeeping & Accounts Level 2.
Students who successfully complete this Level 2 course may choose to progress to courses provided (at Lincoln College) by the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT), which are nationally recognised accounting qualifications.
