An Holistic therapy, incorporates a relaxing pressure point massage to the feet; treating the whole body, mind and soul.The VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology (QCF) is a vocational qualification that will prepare you for a career as a reflexologist. This qualification is designed for learners aged 17 years or over and will support you to gain employment as a reflexologist, as the units contained in this qualification cover all the skills and knowledge required for this role This qualification is based on the Complementary Therapy National Occupational Standards (NOS) and is recognised by the UK's leading professional association's, the British Association of Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology (BABTAC), The Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT), Association of Reflexologists (AoR) and International Federation of Reflexologists (IFR), as being fit for purpose for preparing you for a career as a reflexologist. Holders of this qualification are eligible to become a professional member of any of these associations. Programme Content: This qualification includes all the required elements to work effectively as a reflexologist including, mandatory units covering the following: knowledge and understanding of the principles and practice and business practice, anatomy, physiology and pathology for complementary therapies. You will also develop your understanding and practical skills to competently provide reflexology treatments. Throughout this qualification you will develop your knowledge and understanding of relevant anatomy and physiology, health and safety, and client care. You will also develop a range of technical skills enabling you to use reflexology techniques for relaxation and to promote self-healing for your clients. You will also develop interpersonal skills that will assist you to communicate effectively with clients. The programme focuses on:
Students aged 16-18
The majority of courses are free for students aged 16-18 years.
Students aged 19-23
This course is subsidised by the government. You may be entitled to a discount dependent upon your circumstances.
Students aged 24+
