Take a cabin crew qualification that will enable you to see the world and get paid.

This course develops the skills to meet the needs of the travel industry in relation to cabin crew.  It offers a formal qualification that can be achieved through part time study.

Some of the tasks you will do during the course:

  • Cabin Crew duties and responsibilities
  • On-board customer service
  • Selling skills for cabin crew

The qualification develops the personal and interpersonal skills essential for success as air cabin crew where effective communication is necessary to meet customer needs.

There are no formal entry requirements, but you need to have a good general education.  You need to have a lively personality and excellent interpersonal skills.  It would be advantageous to be studying a foreign language.

The course is assessed through a variety of internally assessed written and practical tasks.  Role play and presentations are an important part of the assessment process and students will need to demonstrate good customer service and team working skills.

Students who take the part time course can either continue their studies or, successful completion of the course has led past students into a variety of tourism jobs, for example:

  • Cabin Crew
  • Working in an airport
  • Travel agents
