If you want to pursue a career in creative media production then this is an excellent place to start. This course will provide you with the underpinning skills and knowledge to progress through the levels of creative media production. Using a combination of HD video cameras, digital SLR cameras, Apple Mac computers and state of the art editing software, you are free to experiment with many different styles and techniques to produce a number of media products that will look great on your show reel.
Upon successful completion, you can progress into Higher Education or employment within the sector.
During the course, you will study: film-making; television; advertising and marketing; radio; photography and Photoshop; print media; music video; scriptwriting; editing and special effects

You will need either 5 GCSE’s including English Language (minimum Grade C), a Level 2 Diploma in Media or directly-related subject and have a GCSE in English (minimum Grade C) or produce a creative portfolio of audio/visual work with appropriate work experience.
You will be required to attend an interview and are also required to provide a reference (from an employer or recent school/college report).
Assessment is a combination of individual meetings and formal assessments, where work is submitted for grading.
