The College is now in a position to offer an advanced short course on PLCs. This will start from concepts gained from the introductory short course (which is a pre requirement). It will be a hands-on course using Allen Bradley SLC500 PLCs.

Programme Content:

• Programming methods including direct keyboard entry
• Forcing of contacts for testing and simulation
• Downloaded editing for speedier alterations to online programs
• Advanced functions including advanced mathematical functions and sub routines

 








































































































































































































 

Applicants wishing to study the Advanced PLC short course should have already completed the PLC introductory short course.

The course contains two class assignments, the satisfactory completion of which entitles the participant to a College Certificate of Achievement.
