This entry level programme is designed for school leavers and young people who need extra support with learning. You will develop the skills required for working within the catering industry and a greater sense of independence and self-confidence by building on skills and strengths. You will be supported to work as part of a team, to manage the ‘Priory Café’.
Upon completion of this programme, you are able to progress onto either the Skills for Progression or a level 1 programme if appropriate. You may also be able to progress into employment within your chosen vocational area. Careers advice will be given throughout the course to help you make this decision.
During this course, you will study: health and safety; preparation of a variety of different food; working as a team and personal development.
